DENE THA’ HOUSING DEPARTMENT is currently offering temporary
employment for the following 2021 Windstorm Damages:
Temporary Positions:
• Carpenters, Helpers/Labourers for All Three Communities(Bushe River,
Chateh And Meander River)
Scope of work:
• Shingle replacements
• Soffits/facia and siding repairs
• Steps and landing repairs/replace
Duration: Temporary work until job is completed.
Specific Skills:
1. CARPENTER HELPERS: position Requires having Previous Residential/Housing
Construction Experiences. Must have Own Tools.
2. LABOURERS: position Requires having Good Physical Health and Willing to Work with
Construction Teams for an Opportunity to Learn New Building Trade Skills and
Experiences. Must have Own Tools.
