Bushe River Daycare is seeking to hire

2 casual Early Childhood Educators

 

 

The Casual Early Childhood Educators will be responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of programs for infants and children (6 months – 6 years) on a casual basis. Early Childhood Educators will assist in leading children in activities to stimulate and develop their cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth and ensuring their security and well-being.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
• Engage children in activities in various daycare centres and provide opportunities for children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
• Share responsibility of maintaining program equipment and environment both indoors and outdoors
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, children, and caregivers
• Assist and guide children with everyday needs, behaviours & interests
• Be responsible for working within a team environment to provide inclusive care

 

Qualifications:

 

• Experience working with children, youth and families an asset
• Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certificate preferred (Level 1, 2, or 3)
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
• Clear Child Intervention Record Check
