The Dene Tha’ First Nation has two positions available immediately based out of the Rising Generations Daycare Centre in the community of Bushe River. Both are term full-time daycare worker positions.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Plan, organize and lead daily activities that aim to stimulate the intellectual, physical and emotional growth of children
• Must assist with the preparation of educational programs
• Maintain constant supervision indoors and outdoors
• Assist the children with their everyday needs

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Valid Child Care Level 2 or Level 3 certificate (*Must provide a copy)
• Valid First Aid / CPR certification (*Must provide a copy)
• Have strong communication skills
• Must be capable of taking instruction from supervisor
• Enjoy working with young children
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License and must have reliable transportation

The successful candidates must provide and maintain a clean criminal record check and a child welfare clearance check; must also live in the area, travel is not provided.
