The Dene Tha’ First Nation Infrastructure Services has a position available for an Administrative Assistant who reports directly to the Infrastructure Services Manager. This is a full-time position based out of the DTFN Administration Office in Chateh.
Duties Include:
- Data entry
- Filing
- Assist with property management rent collection
- Receive Renovation and Housing Applications
- Explain the Housing Policy and selection process to members applying for housing
- Help with tracking work orders
- Require working with all departments under Infrastructure Services
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Experience and/or knowledge of office filing systems
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures will be considered an asset
- Must have good communication and written skills
- Can speak Dene
- Able to work independently
- Must also have a valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation
The successful candidate must provide a Criminal Record Check.
