Position Overview
N’Deh Limited Partnership is seeking a Wildfire Crew Coordinator to support wildfire crew operations in the High Level region. This position is ideal for an experienced wildland firefighter or emergency response professional who thrives in fast-paced operational environments and values strong relationships with Indigenous communities and local partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate assembly and mobilization of wildland firefighting crews
- Maintain current crew certification and training records
- Track daily crew assignments, availability, and deployment status
- Conduct preparedness and fitness audits
- Liaise with Indigenous communities and local contractors
- Support operational reporting, documentation, and incident reviews
- Maintain accurate administrative and operational records
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma
- Minimum one season of wildland firefighting or related wildfire experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to perform in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Assets:
- Experience working with Indigenous communities
- Knowledge of Alberta wildfire systems and procedures
- Leadership experience in emergency response settings
- Forestry or natural resource background
Compensation
Competitive seasonal wage depending on experience.
