Position Overview

N’Deh Limited Partnership is seeking a Wildfire Crew Coordinator to support wildfire crew operations in the High Level region. This position is ideal for an experienced wildland firefighter or emergency response professional who thrives in fast-paced operational environments and values strong relationships with Indigenous communities and local partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate assembly and mobilization of wildland firefighting crews
  • Maintain current crew certification and training records
  • Track daily crew assignments, availability, and deployment status
  • Conduct preparedness and fitness audits
  • Liaise with Indigenous communities and local contractors
  • Support operational reporting, documentation, and incident reviews
  • Maintain accurate administrative and operational records

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum one season of wildland firefighting or related wildfire experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to perform in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Assets:

  • Experience working with Indigenous communities
  • Knowledge of Alberta wildfire systems and procedures
  • Leadership experience in emergency response settings
  • Forestry or natural resource background

Compensation

Competitive seasonal wage depending on experience.
