DESCRIPTION:February 13\, 2026 \nTREATY 8 ANNUITIES CLAIM: \nADDITIONAL INFORMATION MEETINGS FOR RATIFICATION VOTE \n  \nInformation Meetings about the Treaty 8 Specific Claim Compensation Agreement (the “Compensation Agreement”)\, the related Trust Agreements\, and the Ratification Vote were held in Edmonton\, Grande Prairie\, Chateh\, Meander River\, and Bushe River from February 2-5\, 2026. \n  \nIn response to community feedback\, we will be holding additional online information meetings per the schedule below. These additional meetings will be held online\, with the option to attend in-person. Legal counsel and representatives from Scotia Trust will be joining remotely. These meetings are intended to be information sessions. \n  \nAdditional Online Information Meetings will be held on: \n  \n\nFebruary 17\, 2026\, at 1pm (in-person only at the Meander River Complex).\n\nNote: Due to internet issues\, members will only be able to attend in-person at this meeting.\n\n\nFebruary 23\, 2026\, at 5pm (or in-person at the Chateh School).\nFebruary 24\, 2026\, at 11am (or in-person at the Four Chiefs Complex in Bushe River).\n\n  \nTo register for these online meetings\, email: annuity.meeting2026@denetha.ca and let us know which meeting you are intending to join (either February 23 or February 24). \n  \nFull copies of the Agreements are available online through OneFeather’s member portal (register at members.onefeather.ca) or at the band offices in Chateh\, Meander River\, and Bushe River. If you have questions about the Agreements\, please email annuity.meeting2026@denetha.ca. For members who do not have internet access\, arrangements can be made for a phone call to answer questions. Please send a message to the email address above to request a call. \n  \nVoting: \nThere are two remaining methods to Vote: \n\nIn-person Voting: available on February 25\, 2025\, from 9am-8pm MST at the Chateh School\, the Meander River Complex\, and the Four Chiefs Complex in Bushe River; or\nElectronic Voting: opened the evening of February 2\, 2026\, following the end of the first Information Meeting\, through the OneFeather Mobile online platform: onefeather.ca/nations/denetha\, and closes at 8pm on February 25\, 2026.
