Infrastructure Department
The Infrastructure Department of Dene Tha’ First Nation is responsible for the planning, development, operation, and maintenance of community infrastructure to support safe, reliable, and sustainable services for our members.
The department oversees essential services and physical assets including community buildings, water and wastewater systems, roads, drainage, housing-related infrastructure, heavy equipment operations, and public works facilities. We ensure that infrastructure projects are properly planned, constructed, and maintained in accordance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
The Infrastructure Department also manages capital projects, coordinates contractors and engineers, monitors infrastructure funding programs, and works closely with Chief and Council to prioritize community needs.
Through proactive maintenance and long-term planning, the department is committed to protecting community assets, improving service delivery, and supporting the continued growth and well-being of our Nation.
