Notice: Election Appeal Decision
On July 30, 2026, the Appeal Board of the Dene Tha’ First Nation met and considered the appeals of the 2026 Dene Tha’ First Nation election. The appeals related to the Chief election and the various Council seats. After hearing from the parties that attended the hearing, and reviewing the materials that were submitted, the Appeal Board unanimously decided to dismiss the appeals. Reasons for the decision will be released within the next 10 days.
