STATEMENT OF COMMENCEMENT
FOR CHIEF
A statement of Commencement is hereby given to the electors of Dene Tha’ First Nation #448 that an Election for Chief was held on June 8, 2026. The 2026 General Election was held in accordance with the Dene Tha’ First Nation #448 Election Regulations 1993.
I, Brenda Vanguard, appointed to the position of Electoral Officer for the Dene Tha’ First Nation #448, declare that the polling stations were kept open between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (local time) and declare that the count was done manually and counted correctly.
I have performed all other duties required of me by Dene Tha’ First Nation #448 Election Regulations 1993. I further declare that a copy of the Statement of Votes was posted in at least one conspicuous place on the Dene Tha’ First Nation #448.
