TREATY 8 ANNUITIES CLAIM: RATIFICATION VOTE
A Ratification Vote will be held on February 25, 2026, to determine if the Voters of Dene Tha’ First Nation approve the Treaty 8 Annuities Specific Claim Compensation Agreement (the “Compensation Agreement”) between Canada and Dene Tha’ First Nation and the related Trust Agreements.
Members may vote either in-person or electronically.
In-person Voting will be held on February 25, 2026, from 9am-8pm MST at:
- Chateh School;
- Meander River Complex; and
- Four Chiefs Complex in Bushe River
*To vote in-person, please bring a form of identification with you.
Electronic Voting opened the evening of February 2, 2026, following the end of the first Information Meeting, through the OneFeather Mobile online platform: www.onefeather.ca/nations/denetha, and will close at 8pm on February 25, 2026.
*All voting methods are equally valid, but only one vote per Voter will be counted.
