PUBLIC NOTICE
THE DENE THA’ FIRST NATION IS SEEKING COMMITTEE MEMBERS FOR HOUSING SELECTIONS IN THE THREE DTFN COMMUNITIES, 5 CHATEH, 4 MEANDER RIVER, 3 BUSHE RIVER
ELIGIBILIY CRITERIA
•A member must be a DTFN Member.
•A member must be on the DTFN Membership List.
•A member must be at least 18 years of age, unless otherwise specified.
•A member must speak and understand the DTFN language.
•A member must not be a Councillor or the Chief, unless otherwise approved by the Council.
•A member must not be an employee of DTFN.
•A member must be a volunteer, without pay, for time and effort to participate in the Committee. Travel cost, honorarium and reimbursement are allowed for each Committee member to attend meetings, on a per-meeting basis and from within the specific program. All expenses and reimbursements must have receipts.
•A member of the committee, from time to time, may be required to do home visits to assist the decision-making process, the assessments will help determine the selection eligibility criteria checklist.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL ASSIST THE HOUSING MANAGER WITH THE SELECTION FOR NEW HOUSING, MAJOR/MINOR RENOVATIONS FOR ALL THREE DTFN COMMUNITIES
